This publication comprises the English language version of ENV 1993-1-1:1992 Eurocode 3: Design of Steel Structures — Part 1.1: General rules and rules for buildings, as published by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN), plus the National Application Document (NAD) to be used with the ENV on the design of buildings to be constructed in the United Kingdom (UK).

Summary of pages : This document comprises a front cover, an inside front cover, pages i to xxii, the ENV title page, pages 2 to 270, an inside back cover and a back cover.

Introduction : This National Application Document (NAD) has been prepared under the direction of the Technical Sector Board for Building and Civil Engineering. It has been developed from:

• a textual examination of ENV 1993-1-1:1992;
• a parametric calibration against BS 5950, supporting standards and test data;
• trial calculations.

Scope : This NAD provides information to enable ENV 1993-1-1:1992 (EC3-1.1) to be used for the design of buildings to be constructed in the UK.

Hanya sayang, versinya IMPERIAL (kips-in) dan bukan SI (N-mm), sehingga rumus-rumusnya tidak bisa ditelan mentah-mentah.

Dokumen ACI ini terdiri 445 halaman, bandingkan dengan peraturan kita yang 292 halaman saja. Jadi ada hal-hal yang lain yang belum ada di peraturan kita. Buku ini merupakan saingan berat EUROCODE-2, yang menjadi acuan teman-teman di Eropa dan negara persemakmuran Inggris, sedangkan ACI 318-02 menjadi acuan di Amerika dan konco-konconya, termasuk Indonesia.

Ukuran file PDF-nya cukup besar 12,648 kb sehingga tidak dapat di up-load sekaligus, untuk itu seperti biasa file akan dibagi menjadi file-file kecil dengan program split ( http://www.spadixbd.com/jsplit/index.htm ) sebagai berikut :
